About

A Little About Me

I grew up in rural Saskatchewan, where long summer nights and quiet prairie roads shaped my love for simple living. Today, I live on an acreage just outside of Saskatoon with my husband, our son, and our golden retriever. We have just over seven acres to call our own — the inspiration behind the name Seven Threaded Acres. It’s where I sew, create, raise my family, and feel most at home.

I’ve always had a love for movement and hands-on work — I played every sport I could growing up and hold two university degrees — but sewing has been the creative outlet I’ve always come back to. It started as a hobby and slowly grew into something more: a way to blend practicality with beauty and share that with others. Building this business from our home has been a joy and a challenge — and one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

What started as a love for sewing has grown into a one-woman business focused on creating functional, stylish pieces to simplify everyday life. At Seven Threaded Acres, I design and handcraft each item with intention — from storage baskets and hanging organizers to quilted pouches and my signature Heritage Bag with a built-in blanket.

My goal is to make products that work hard and look good, whether you're packing up for the ball field, organizing a busy home, or just trying to keep life a little more manageable on the go. I sew with high-quality materials — using lots of cottons and sturdy canvas — and I’m always thinking about real-life use when designing something new.

Every piece that leaves my hands has been thoughtfully made from start to finish — tested by my own family and trusted by customers who value craftsmanship, simplicity, and practicality.

Thanks for being here. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to Seven Threaded Acres.
